Looking for a 3x game. My game group doesn't like attacking games but I do like the explore, expand, and exploit parts. Do any of these Xs included a technology tree? Also looking for a game that is under 2 hrs?

Thanks in advance.

You have to check out Ad Astra. No tech tree sadly but it involves exploring, expanding and exploiting with no exterminating in sight. Really good game.

Carcassonne

Edit: in all seriousness, possibly Archipelago is what you're looking for. You have to deal with the "semi-coop" nature of the game, but it has all of the features you mention without direct attacking/confrontation.

We actually own both. Have only played Archipelago once . So we need to get it to the table more/again.

Thanks, that is a good suggestion.

Definitely Terra Mystica. Yes. Ad Astra is also good, but definitely Terra Mystica.

No relation, but Terra Prime also fits the bill. It's got all 3, plus upgrading your spaceship!

Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age, or maybe some of the other roll through the ages games I haven't played.

Empires of the Void especially with Empires of the Void: Key to the Universe fits nicely.
