Dune, Game of Thrones Second Ed, Galaxy Trucker Aniv. Ed, Space Alert, Race for the Galaxy, Pathfinder Card Game, and LoTR Card Game.

My favorite games are Twilight Struggle, Descent, Resistance Avalon, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Letters from Whitechapel.

Which of that first group do you think my group would enjoy trying next? Thanks!

Pathfinder!

the only reason I say that is because out of your list of "to play games" it's the only one I have played

I'd say game of thrones, if you have 6 to play with, any other number hold off (although 3 can work as a mechanics testing game)

Space alert might be good to try. Shouldn't be a long game and apparently a decent co-op (if you've not played others

LotR and Pathfinder can be done solo, so you could always try them out yourself

I'd second Pathfinder. Not only because I like it, but also because:

1) It's an adventure with individual character growth, like Descent (which I love).

2) It has card management and the automated enemies like Sentinels (which I dislike, but you like, so...)

3) It has in-game deckbuilding, which I found more fun than pre-game (à la LotR.

Have fun

My vote is for LOTR - The Card Game. It is immersive and challenging.

It's a hard choice but I think Pathfinder does seem to align with your likes best.

Unless you have a group, then Galaxy Trucker.

Dune is great, Pathfinder is a boring like hell blush. I bought it, played it 3 times and sold it.
