Hello everyone, some of you might already know I am working on Darklight: Memento Mori, and if you do not:

Website: www.darkicegames.com
Teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grFSX62d_ok
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Darklight-Memento-Mori/448067...
Twitter: https://twitter.com/DarklightRPG

Ok, now that I have got that out of the way, I would like to ask for advice on how to spread the word more efficiently. I have contacted a few boardgaming news websites and put out the words on forums and such, what else would you suggest?

I could even put it as a suggestion, in the forums of similar games or the game it takes inspirations from, but I think that only tends to anger people for some reason. (If someone had shown me links to games like Space Hulk within the Space Hulk forums, I'd be more than grateful, but I guess that's just me).

This is a question I suppose it is applicable to any boardgame, how do you successfully put the word out, what really hits the mark in terms of community?

Cheers

You can run a contest with some promotional copies for people to win. They usually get a bunch of clicks and most importantly clicks by people interested in board games.

I definitely wanted to do that, with a resin cast, but I thought it would make sense if I already had a large group of followers.

What sort of contests would you suggest?
