Everyone is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day, Except the Scottish, we're still Scottish. (We do love our cousins across the water though)
My brother-in-law and I were playing Ark the other day and decided that it needed the builder in it. We think that if someone has the builder from Carcassonne: Traders and Builders they can use it in Ark of the Covenant. Each player can not use their builder until they get temple points. Once one has gotten temple points they can use the builder according to standard Carcassonne rules (an additional tile for building onto a city/road that a builder is in). We think this is a fun variation that makes players even more want to stop other players from getting temple points. The builder is in play until the end of the game after he comes in (unlike the prophet). The reason we did not think of anything with the pig is eating pork is prohibited in the Old Testament Law that the Hebrews followed (although they did own pigs and used their fat to keep snakes out of their fields).
