Starting here in Volume II we start to see campaign scenarios that play out on more than one map(usually two). The multiple map arrangements in this system are not as clear cut as they are for normal multimap boardgames. I notice that, in particular, the eastern and western maps of Spain in Volume III have a bare minimum of overlap along the interior map edges. What special rules are currently in place to govern movement from one map to another? This seems like it could be a tricky area.

Yes it can be tricky, but usually players and the Umpire are flexible for this, especially when moving from one map to another involves different scales (no atlas of the time was perfect).

That said, that would be bad luck to fight exactly at the border between two maps...
