I have combined both the old and the new into one game and I have a question regarding the number of kicks and weaknesses. Would they still be 16 and 20 respectively? I am assuming yes.

Now that wasn't the answer I expected. Of course, having twice as many cards doesn't automatically make the game twice as long. And Man of Steel would have some fun with 32 Kicks to choose from!

Pro-tip: Nothing is actually stopping you from including all of them in the game. The balance of the game is mostly unaffected and it makes some Weakness giving cards retain value if you manage to deal out all 20 before the games end. We've even taken to making Weaknesses "infinite" as in when they are destroyed, they are return to the supply and not removed from the game.
