My third conversion, Friction was quite fun to create. She play cards fast and furious doing a lot of small and sometime not so small damage. But she burns out, but unlike the solo version, she explode in a lightning storm and start to slowly recover.

Friction: Shockingly Speedy (HP: 60)
Setup
At the start of the game, put the Friction's villain character cards into play, Shockingly Speedy side up.
Search the villain deck for the Shock Dampeners and stolen gear and put them into Play. Shuffle the villain deck.
Gameplay
At the start of each hero turn, play the top card of the villain deck.
If Friction is reduced to 0 or fewer HP, flip her villain character cards.
At the end of the villain turn, Friction deals the hero target with the highest HP X melee damage, where X = the number of Surge card played since the end of the last villain Turn.
Advanced
Increase damage dealt by Friction by 1.

Friction: Electrical Overload (HP: 60)
Gameplay
When Friction flips to this side, she regains (H) times 3 HP.
Friction is immune to lightning damage.
Increase damage dealt by Friction by (H) minus 2.
At the start of the villain turn, shuffle (H) plus 2 cards from the villain trash into the villain deck. Friction regains (H) plus 2 HP. If there are (H) or less card in the villain trash, flip Friction's villain character cards.
At the end of the turn, Friction deals each target 1 lightning damage.
Advanced
Reduce damage dealt to Friction by 2.

Changed Cards
2 x Synergy Surge (One-Shot, Surge) (text replaced, plus 1 card)
Until the start of the next turn, increase damage dealt by Friction by X. Where, X = the number of nemesis cards in play plus 1.
Play the top card of the villain Deck.

2 x Shock Dampener (Device) (plus 1 card)
Friction is immune to lightning damage.

Added Cards
3 x Passing the Limit (One-Shot, Surge)
Friction deals herself 3 lightning damage.
Until the start of the villain turn, whenever a player draws a card, Friction deals that player’s hero 2 Melee damage.

With this wording I believe it would only count her normal card play and cards played out of turn by things like the environment.

Cards played at the end of the turn for example those played by stolen gear are played during the end of turn and would not count as being played since the end of the last turn.

Is this your intent? It seems like she would it for 1 sometimes and 0 on others.

The first line of game play is important to understand this effect:

At start of each player turn, play the top card of the villain deck.

About the card back, they are on the way, but I wont be able to get the color exactly right sadly.

Ah! sorry I missed that part. So generally it will be somewhere 0-2.
Edit: Plus some cards say to play more cards!

Interesting, when playing Tachyon I really like the theme where she can start playing/drawing more cards per turn as it feels like she is speeding up.

With this Friction She starts at three cards and the you kill her gear and then flip her and she is slowing down. Very nice.

I missed your other solo conversions, would you be willing to link them all in one post when you are done?

Love the solo conversion idea, planning to print with my next order. However, as a grammar/wording nazi, little typos and inconsistencies tend to bother me inordinately. Hopefully I won't cause offense, but I've going through your conversions and trying to catch that kind of stuff. Here's cleaned-up wording for Friction's cards that needed it:

Character front...
Gameplay:
At the start of each hero turn, play the top card of the villain deck.

At the end of the villain turn, Friction deals the hero target with the highest HP X melee damage, where X = the number of Surge card played since the end of the last villain Turn.

I think "X = the number of Nemesis targets in play +1" might be more standard.

the main problem I see is what you mean by Nemesis, if you mean the mini-nemesis then you need to clarify that, if you want it to mean every nemesis symbol in play, or even every matched nemesis symbol it'll need clarified that way too.

Right now you could interpret it any way.

If you want it to not include character cards (friction and the heroes) then just make it non-character card nemesis icons. That would include the rats from Final Wasteland and Anubis, but that is kind of cool.

I'd say the number of nemesis cards in play. Since that leans toward the keyword and not the symbol.

Typo that was my fault: on her rules back, last sentence in Gameplay should be "At the end of the villain turn"...

Also, there's an (H) missing on her rules back.

On her rules front Setup, there are 2 unneeded "the's", should be:
At the start of the game, put the Friction's villain character cards into play, Shockingly Speedy side up.
Search the villain deck for the Shock Dampeners and stolen gear and put them into Play. Shuffle the villain deck.

I know I was a little harsh on the solo Ermine version. However, I just played this solo version of Friction and she was a lot of fun. It really felt like a race. There was a ton of damage being thrown around. Once she flipped it was hard to finish her off. Two hyper sonic assaults allowed the heroes to pull off the win. It was really close. She might be a tad hard.

Ido have some questions. The card says: at the start of the game search for shock dampeners. However it doesn't say whether both copies of shock dampeners go into play. The title is plural which makes it confusing.

Also, when she flips is she restored to 3H HP or just regains it. The difference is in my game a Light Speed Barrage took her down to -6HP. I played that she went back up to 3H instead of regaining. She ended up flipping back to side A twice.

Finally, since Stolen Gear lets her play a card at the "end" of her turn but she does damage at the end of her turn equal to the surge cards since the end of her last turn. Does a surge card from stolen gear played last turn count for this turn's X hit? Confused? Me too.
