So,

Clearly no one wants to use half cardboard tokens and half sculted tokens of the same type (that would ba madness!). The Goldilocks addon gives you ...

> 70 sculpted coins (40 base + 30 from stretch)
> 60 wound tokens (40 base + 20 from stretch)
> 24 guild tokens (4 base + 20 stretch, for each color)

That's ...

> 17 coins per player per game
> 15 wounds per player per game
> 24 guild tokens per player per game

Without reading the rules or seeing the monsters and whatnot it's hard to tell the max we will need. Does anyone have any insight here or ideas as to how many of each we'll need? I would hate to have to dive into cardboard tokens while playing!

Thanks.

The base game comes with:

100 Guild tokens (25 for each)
70 coins
60 wound tokens

You only miss 4 guild tokens to have the same numbers as the base game. The designer have stated that they only planned for 96 guild tokens, but they could fit 100 on the sheets, so they did.
Usually it is unlikely that a player would need more than 16.

The Goldilocks add-on essentially replaces all of those 3 items that are in the main box (you might be a couple short), so there is really no need for anything beyond the Goldilocks.

I think he was asking whether or not the amount in the Goldilocks add-on will be enough to replace the cardboard ones without running out and needing to dip into them.

To which I'd say no one really knows; there's no indication as to how many of these tokens you're likely to use in a typical game.

The designer have said that it should be more than sufficient, and he should know

If this is all true why are there options to add 60 more coins, etc? ie. more than the Goldilocks?

The other options also allow people to buy the tokens for use in other games.
