Gave this to my son for his birthday recently, just got to play it tonight and he came up with a decent little game changer:
Both of the Cave spaces are "Safe Zones".
Dinosaurs can't get you there because "They're too big to get in there."
Lava can't get you there because "The caves are really, really DEEP."
Stretching it a bit with that last one, but I let him have it. This twist did make the game a bit more interesting.
My god, but this game is sooo flippin' fun with some imaginative kids!! The 'role playing' and storytelling that went along with this session was just a joy to watch. I wish I had videotaped it.
