Today I bought a complete Shogun 1986 from Goodwill for $0.79 plus sales tax (8%) for $0.85.

The game is complete as I counted every piece. The box and game board are in great condition.

Is this the best complete game random find ever?

It's a good find, but follow the weekly thrift list and you will see some ridiculous finds.

That goodwill sounds a lot better than the one I visited that had risk 2210 for $30.

One better.
I was given this game at a boot Faye in the Uk.
The couple selling it were about to leave and did not want to take the game home.
Boxed unpunched plus two others.

Battle masters some repairs needed but otherwise complete.
That was a good day.

An ash I know, Yggdrasil its name. With water white is the great tree wet; thence come the dews that fall in the dales. Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.

I have had at least 200 better finds. It is solid, but that copy of Shogun isn't worth so much now that Ikusa was reprinted.

But it is exciting to make these sorts of finds, isn't it? It is why our local guild has a thrift thread which has been going for several years... great to share stories.

A few fave stories: once I found a complete copy of Epic Duels, 3rd Ed Settlers of Catan (in shrink), and a copy of OOP Nexus Ops (pre-reprint) for $6 total; another time I found an unpunched copy of AH Civilization for .49; and on another day I found five copies of 10 Days in Africa, two 10 Days in USA, two copies of Bazaar, and one copy of 10 Days in Europe... ALL IN SHRINK at thrift for .99 each.

Is there some link I can review? Or you have to be there in person?

Thank a lot!
