We were playing 5P last night and had a battle with 17CU (Carthage on defence) vs 9CU (Greek in attack).

Anyone had or heard of a larger force in battle??

Is that the Vassal module for Sword of Rome? Looks really good, someone did a lot of work on it. I like how the Carthaginian counters are clipped, but not the Greeks.

To answer your question that is the most CUs in a battle I have ever seen...

Hi Wray

Yes, this is a 5P version of SoR via VASSAL based on the 4P version. One of our gaming group developed this with assistance/support from GMT. It works well, although we haven't shared it publicly. We have another version update in progress, but as always it takes longer than hoped. We will post when its completed.
