When this game is played with 4 players, are there two teams with shared winning conditions?

That is, if the VC player wins, does the NVA player also share the victory?

Christian,

Not in a 4-player game. In a 2-player game, you can have one player taking the COIN (US and ARVN) and the other player take the Insurgents (NVA and VC) where either the COIN or the Insurgents win.

Thanks for the response. Would the game work as a 4 player team co-op, Coin x Insurgents?

I think it would. You would simply use the 2-player rules, but each team member run his/her own faction toward a joint win/loss. Simple as that. vfr

Christian,

As Volko says, it would, just not stated as such in the current rules. Might be a good way to play if you've got 2 experienced and 2 less experienced/novice players, especially if the latter are trying to learn FITL.
