We have seen many storage solution threads, which are always cool... But I'm looking for pictures and products of what you use to "pack lite" for tournaments/game nights, etc.

Basically when you are only bringing a squad or two, what do you do?
Are you just grabbing everything and going or do you have a smaller option?

I would say I have a medium size collection that all fits in the Battlefoam 216 bag. I bring the whole case and use a small tray for my ships and tackel box for tokens.

Normally everything is in big Plano cases but when I am playing in a tourney, I switch down to a Plano 3700. It holds as much as I need and the top is easily removed so no need to take ships off their bases as I travel between tables.

The only thing I don't carry in there, although I could, is my tokens. I have a separate small Plano case for those.

I carry everything (except my terrain asteroids), usually, in a PACK 216 with two trays of custom foam. (This holds well over 30 ships through Wave 3, but I'll need to add another tray and get a bigger case soon.)

If you want to see the BattleFoam templates, they're in my Gallery.

When space is limited, I pack two squadrons and needed components in 10" custom foam that fits into the core set box.

I use a core box for a Tournament Squad, but I fit everything I have into Two Plano 5231s plus a 3 ring binder for cards. I usually bring that and leave it in the car in case there is someone who needs to borrow something.

Same here: Core box with custom foam for tournaments. Spartan Battlefoam case when I want to bring everything (they were onsale for 50% during last year's Black Friday sale. it was glorious).

I have two KR Multicases, 1 for rebel, 1 for imperial. It's been working very well.

Are you thinking hard case then, for protection?

And when you say a squad or two...

Let's see:
10 dice
Templates
We'll say 12 ships for variety (any large?)
12 base and base cards
12 dials
12x each token (squiggle, focus, stress)
Some target locks
25-ish Pilot cards and around that many upgrades
