Legends of Andor - Legend 2 and Legend 3. We managed to win legend 3 with a lucky die roll at the end.

Neuroshima Hex! - Just bought it on the iPad, and played it about 5-7 times already.

Mage Knight Board Game - Watched videos on how to set up and play 2 player co-op. We do not have the game (yet)

Defenders of the Realm - Watched video on how to play. We do not have the game (yet)

Both vids were from the Dragon's Table. She does a great job with layout and explanations.

Sunday
2 * Seeland
1 * Jaipur
1 * Mage Tower: A Tower Defense Card Game

I went to the park with my girlfriend on Sunday for games, where I introduced her to Jaipur (Just bought as I'm lacking in games that work well with the 2 of us), Seeland (Borrowed from a friend) & Mage Tower, which i also got recently.

Jaipur went down well, & I'm sure it's going to get many plays.

Seeland I'm a bit unsure, our first game was cool (Basic) but playing with the more advanced bits was...mean - I gained more from ruining her point opportunities than from actually scoring for myself.

Mage Tower confused us, I think we played right but just...166 cards and we use 16 each game? It felt like there should be a way to gain more or something...we might try a custom variant to build up as we go.

Played 2 games. In the first game, the werewolves won. In the second, due to the Trouble Maker, the villagers were able to pull out a win. We used the App that can be found on Android and iOS devices and it worked really well. If you do not have the app yet, I strongly recommend picking it up.

Played one game and only one lap on Monaco. It was a tight race but in the end I fell behind and didn't even finish. The highlight was one player hitting a corner in sixth gear and rolling a 30. She went out in a spectacular blaze.

Played one game. I am never, ever the traitor despite being the person who triggers the haunt. Try as we might, we were not able to stop the murderous Crimson Jack from hacking us to little bits. At least we took the traitor to Hell with us.

We started playing this late and with a new person which turned out to be a mistake. It was a match between Virus, Warpish, Grudge, Masochist, and the Machine. I almost won as the Masochist with 16 ships in the warp until someone played Mobeus Tubes and freed all of my ships. I figured the card would be played at one point, so I was hardly surprised.

On the Virus's turn, where she could have won, she tried to play an artifact card out of sequence which would have prevented allies from helping the defender. I told her she could not do so because we had moved on to the reveal phase and the cards were already flipped. At that point, she declared the game was stupid, pushed all of her ships, planets, and cards into the middle of the table, announced she was leaving, and stormed out. The rest of us called it quits and put the game away in silence. We later rolled a die to see who ultimately won and I took it. Not an ideal way to win.
Sunday

I was finally able to talk my wife into playing the game. It was the first time either of us had played; she had Dark Elves and I had Benders. Unfortunately, it was not a close match and I was able to keep her off foot the majority of the game due to Stun, Memory Break, and Mimic. I played recklessly with my summoner and if my wife had taken advantage of the DE's summoner's special ability, she could have easily won. I think next time, when we both know a little better what we are doing, she will give me a serious run for my money.

As I have a 7 month old, most weekends are less packed with recreation:

Alien Frontiers I loved the hell out of this game, being the perfect balance between meaningful decisions, direct actions, and very good mechanics. The 50s scifi look was really cool for me too.

Qwirkle Easy to learn, with a lot of room to be strategic. I never do good at these games, but I still had a nice time being last place.

Got a little gaming in this weekend.

Took another stab at madness with A Study in Emerald. Last game I played it like a fiddle, came up in last place, forced my unwitting team mate to pull me out of the quagmire, then jumped into first. This time I was fooled. Figured on a unwilling teammate, but found by games ends he was not, and was taken out by those dirty restorationists! This game is genius if you've not played it yet. One of Wallace's better.

Played a game of life in CV took all the gold, and lost in the end.

Also played a quick game of Guildhall. Was an OK filler.

I played a game of Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game on Saturday, and really didn't enjoy it very much. Then, on Sunday, I went to a birthday party for a friend where games were to be played. Despite my best efforts, we ended up playing Scene It? Disney and Trivial Pursuit on the Wii. So, not a great weekend for games, but games were played!

Had a bit of a reprieve in gaming earlier in the week, things just got busy, but made up for it this weekend and have some good games on the way.

I just picked up Catan (finally picked this one up barely used on craigslist) and should be getting in Tales of the Arabian Nights tomorrow. Psyched to play both.

Saturday
1 x Forbidden Desert
1 x Mice and Mystics (solo, figuring out rules)
1 x Small World (solo on phone though)

Sunday
2 x Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age (solo)
2 x Mice and Mystics (Solo, trying first scenario again and tried to get all items, after I lost due to end of chapter, kept playing to cement all mechanics. Can't wait to get this to the table.)
1 x King of Tokyo
2 x Guts of Glory
2 x Galaxy Trucker: Anniversary Edition (solo getting ready to bring to the table)
2 x Escape: The Curse of the Temple
1 x Bezzerwizzer
1 x Zombie Dice (to determine player order)
