That's right! My boy is interested in procuring a 100 sided die. Where can I purchase one? I've tried google, but all stores seem to no longer have them in stock. shake

Any help would be appreciated, especially by my five year old son who is saving his pocket money towards this current holy grail.

Peace,

James

Buy two 10-sided dice. A D100 doesn't roll very well and the result is not as easy to read.

Tell that to a 5-year old.

They really are out of stock everywhere. I checked out about ten places and nothing. Good luck on your search and apologies I couldn't assist more.

It's not as cheap as you can usually get them though.

Hokay~
The problem seems to be that Lou Zocchi has apparently retired,
and is selling all GameScience stock to a new company, 'GameStation'.
(Because, as we all Know: "The 100-sided die, or “Zocchihedron”,
was invented by Lou Zocchi, as was the d3, d5, d14 and d46, among others"...)

It looks like the transition isn't complete yet, and so the Zocchihedron links are ∫token right now:
http://www.gamescience.com/uniqueindividualdice
(and it may even be out of production entirely, as a novelty item)
I'd shoot an email to www.gamestation.net or (Better!) call their 866 number to see whats up.

{Edit}
Yowza! Looks like it really is the end of an era!

I'd still try GameStation's 866 number because Hey: Free Call!
But it looks like the EBay expensive ones are going to be your best bet.
They are expensive, but not so crazy as not to be worth it to get your child
"The Last Zoccihedron In The World!!"

Quote:
NO LONGER PRODUCED - LIMITED AVAILABILITY

Zocchihedron is the trademark of the 100 sided D100 die,
which was invented by Lou Zocchi, and debuted in 1985.
Rather than being a polyhedron, it is more like a ball with 100 flattened planes.
It is sometimes called "Zocchi's Golfball."

Zocchihedra are designed to handle percentage rolls in games,
particularly in role-playing games.
The Zocchihedron took 3 years to invent,
and 3 years to get into production.

Lou Zocchi applied for a patent for his invention,
and received patent D303,553 on Sept 19, 1989.

But actually as a proof-of-concept and vanity item,
as they were(in practice) not practical for everyday gaming..
Still pretty cool, and now (apparently) extinct.

The realist in me knows that these would probably perform poorly, but the collector in me wants one so badly...

Some very nice recommendations.

Thank you all for the feedback - very appreciated, my son will be receiving his d100 in April; as soon he has the necessary funds that is.
