Thanks, Gareth. I did not even think to go back to the Treefrog site.

Best,
Ricky

Well, I'm afraid it'll have to wait. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman round here?

What is the difference between the two editions?

They're summarized in the 2nd edition rulebook:

http://www.treefroggames.com/wp-content/uploads/rules/few-ac...

Short version:

- Home Support cannot cause a reshuffle.
- The French Bateaux card has been removed.
- You cannot put location cards in reserve.
- A single card lets you raid along 2 connections instead of 1.

I don't think they made any map or card changes, but someone else can chime in if I'm mistaken.

I just played 2d ed for the first time and prefer the 1st edition. In particular, I didn't like how the extended raiding distance changed the strategic feel of the game. Raiding became much more important, with settlement often being counterproductive (it just sets your opponent up for raiding). I think I'll try to stick with 1st ed rules (the HH has never been an issue in my games).
