I would say that DAK2 and Burma have the most specialised game-specific rules in the whole series.

So I would be inclined towards The Blitzkrieg Legend as a learning tool.

I recently played the North (Holland) short scenario, which was fun - and which introduces quite a number of the key considerations (efficient use of supply; eating off the map; use of airpower; concentration of force; the importance of counter attack; the need to use the phasing of the game effectively).

Having said that, there are good shorter scenarios in both Burma and DAK which are worth your attention: the 10 turn U-Go scenario is testing for both sides in Burma, and the 15 May 1941 short scenario (I forget the name) in DAK is also something of a wild OCS ride.

Learning with the 3 turn Kasserine scenario from Tunisia right now. Slow going of course, but I can play anything for 3 turns.

It would be nice to have even smaller scenarios, for example, single turns demonstrating certain tactics, with victory conditions based on optimal outcomes for each side (even if that's one side simply avoiding total annihilation).
