Hi, I'm just figuring the rules out.
When you reveal a card, is it mandatory to take a new card or can you choose to keep the revealed card face down?

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

When you are challenged and reveal a card to prove that you have it, then you must put it into the court deck in the middle, shuffle them, and draw a new card. This is mandatory.

If you are challenged and do not have the card (ie, you were bluffing), then you must choose one of your cards and put it face up on the table. If you have two cards in your hand you must choose one of them. If you have one card then you have no choice. But either way you must place one card face up. Also mandatory.
