Release the Hounds says search your hand and your Draw Deck for cards and put them in your hand.
Why would you search your hand for cards to put in your hand?
Should it be search your Draw Deck or Discard pile?

I'm pretty sure they do mean your hand or draw pile - not discard pile.

There are two parts to this event (i) search your draw pile and put in hand (ii) summoner these units or/and build magic.

While (i) doesn't make sense if targeting your hand (ii) does.

I'd agree there is room from confusion here.

My guess is because the "Firelings" are 0 cost to summon, you can take some from you hand during your "EVENT" phase (rather than the summon phase) with this card.

If the word "hand" wasn't there, it would be unlucky to already have the units in your hand if you wanted to summon them during the event phase (after placing a wall) or adjacent to the queen.

Yes, the key benefit I see is being able to bring them out during the Event phase (i. e. right after placing a new wall), potentially doing a sneaky attack.
