I am really excited about the game and have kickstarted it already, but:

Is there hope for other teams in the future? Because I can't stand the four big market teams that were chosen. Especially NY. Plus, only the east and west coast teams are represented. What about some midwest teams? What about Detroit, Chicago, or Minnesota?

What team would you like to see?

Those are just the starting teams for each player. You start right away buying Free Agents from many other teams so your team gets its own identity. All Major League Cities will be represented in the game. The Base Game alone has may different cities in it. You will notice some of these coming up in the card profiles as we release them.
We wanted to pick two good rivalries for the base game starter teams so that is why these are there. You can certainly make suggestions of which ones you would like to see represented.
I like Chicago, they are in the Free Agent Deck along with many others.

I would love to see Atlanta, as the Braves have been my team since I was a kid. Greg Glavine would be an excellent cyborg! And Chipper Murphy would be an great natural.

As I hope everyone understands we are NOT using actual baseball team names anywhere. We are using cities known for baseball and very basic two color pennants. You will have to use your imagination after that.

It is also important to remember that the great players are in the Free Agent deck. The 4 starter decks are comprised of rookies and veterans who are quickly sent down to the minor leagues as you hire in new players from the Free Agent offers. In fact, I have seen a lot of Free Agent choices come from the cities or "names" they represent - no matter how good they are!

However, down the line, if it catches on like we believe it will, we will certainly consider adding new starter team cities!

We want only Major League teams... whistle

Why is St. Louis (with the second most WS titles) missing?

Must be in the next batch!

Most all of the Major League cities are represented in the game in the Free Agent Deck. St. Louis, Cleveland, Seattle etc. The starting team cities do not mean much since they are just for rookies and Veteran generic starting players. There are Free Agents from those cities as well.

Honestly, I would love a team from the state of Delaware. That being said, I would suggest that you not choose New York, NY or Boston, MA but instead choose Salem or Cape Cod for MA and Albany, NY.

How about the home of the Negro League Museum? Kansas City.

If you are a baseball fan, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
