Now that these are in people's hands, I would like to hear if any missions were included in the pack, and the relative value of them.

Perhaps a brief overview?

Thanks in advance

There is a mission wherein the Rebels get 110 points and Imperials get 100. One (non unique) imperial ship is designated as the Prototype. There are special rules for setting up the asteroids, and extra tokens on the asteroids that are research facilities. These can be attacked targeted and destroyed as if they were an enemy ship.

The Prototype can gain special abilities by being within range 1 of the facility it will grant that one ship a special ability. The abilities are: gain 3 hull, attack twice per round, increase attack value by 2 and agility by 1, all maneuvers become green, change all [hit]s to [crit]s, cannot be targeted by secondary weapons.

The rebel player has a way to "land on" the facility and sabotage it as well.

Objectives: rebels, kill the prototype. imperials, kill all rebels

It does but there are some significant differences. It seems to be the most complicated mission to date (though I haven't played it yet). The main difference is that the prototype ship that the Rebels must destroy can gain some very interesting abilities from the "facilities" so it's not just like trying to take down a standard ship. The prototype might have +3 hull, get two shots per combat, and roll +2 attack and +1 defense.

Choosing to use those abilities is an interesting decision for the Imperials because by activating them you make them easier to destroy. And, if the Rebels want to destroy the facilities through sabotage (possibly quicker and more of a sure thing than just firing on them) they have to leave one of their own ships highly vulnerable (agility = 0 while the Rebel ship is attempting sabotage).

It's the mission I've been most excited to try after a first read through of the rules.
