There are few differences in each version of Manhattan Project printed. These were all cause of a printer change or the printer making mistakes. We gave all 3 companies the same files to use. But here is a summary:

FIRST PRINTING:
was sold out within a month so very rare to own this if you didn't by early
has copyright 2011 on the back
has two misprinted starting university card backs
has mini-american sized cards
has 12mm disks
has 4mm thick workers
has paper player mats
NATIONS 1: mini-american cards
NATIONS 1: still says copyright 2011

SECOND PRINTING:
has copyright 2011 on the back
has brown disks instead of yellow disks for the yellow player
has mini-euro sized cards (16th inch larger)
has 14mm disks
has 3mm thick workers
has thick cardboard player mats with rounded corners
NATIONS 1: mini-euro sized cards (was only sold while 2nd printing was in stock)
NATIONS 1: still says copyright 2011

THIRD PRINTING:
has copyright 2013 on the back
has 12mm disks
has 4mm thick workers
has thin cardboard player mats with square corners
cards are mini-american but glossy and have tighter radius cut on corners
NATIONS 1: mini-american cards but with glossy and small corners
NATIONS 1: still says copyright 2011

FOURTH PRINTING:
identical to THRID printing in every way

SECOND STAGE- FIRST PRINTING:
has mini-american glossy small radius corners
matches THIRD printing exactly
very clost match for FIRST printing
does not match SECOND printing, but only 5 cards ever get put into the main building deck and if you sleeve that deck you'll never notice them it coming up. There is no fix for these cards to match the bad second printing size.

SECOND STAGE- SECOND PRINTING:
identical to FIRST printing in every way.

We are out of replacement decks but still have the 2 replacement cards are for the people who have FIRST PRINTING of the BASE GAME.

While NATIONS 1 is out of print and will not be printed alone (it will be in 3rd printing of Second Stage), we still have them at our own webstore. Since they are never shuffled in to any deck, it doesn't matter which size of these you use.

While I'm sure existing SS owners will groan, this makes me happy, as I've yet to buy SS. When will 3rd printing be available? And you didn't mention anything about distinguishing SS printings from the box. How will retailers (and thus I) know when they have 3rd printing of SS? Thanks!

I might have to start using this example when I teach my math students about functions.

One input --> multiple outputs?

No, the function is still one --> one. It's just that there are three functions, rather than one.

We still have plenty of SS 2nd printing in the channels so till that runs low we'll not be placing and order for the 3rd printing. This is kind of a catch 22.

The 3rd printing will state clearly on the cover that it "Now Includes Nations 1"

Estimate time frame? Late this year at best.

Or a random multiplier in the function. In our case it was Queen Games thinking they could do whatever they wanted to our game when they printed it for us. So they used more standard mini euro-sized cards. Without asking us, without our permission. Same goes for those brown disks.

Uh....ok? So we can't really call it "the function". That's the point!

But we're way off topic. Sorry James

(Also, a=b ==> f(a) = f(b))
