I was just wondering if one can use Battle Cry figures in place of the counters? Can the figures fit on the hexes and do the numbers add up?
There are 40 Inf 9 cav 6 cannons and 3 generals figures on each side in Battle Cry. (not BC150)

Thank you for your time.

Clever idea!
However, Gettysburg 150 is "step reduction". Most units have matching counters that are lower in value than the starting counter which are used to replace the starting counter when it takes a loss. I'm sure you could put two Battle Cry counters in a hex, maybe three.
"The Civil War" [Xeno Games 403] actually uses Battle Cry [1961] counters, but is Area Movement and has room.
