1 Starter and 3 Gravity Packs.

Think that will get me a full set?

A lot depends on the distribution of the cards. I've not seen anything anywhere that says, for example, the cards will be 5% ultra rare, 10% rare, 30% uncommon, 55% common.

I'd be very curious to know how many ultra, rare, uncommon, and common cards you got in those 3 packs. That'd help me decided how many I want to buy!

i would agree. I would think you would have 2 full sets if you are lucky, but probably some super rare doubles and possible missing a double of a few rares

Depends on if you count the organized play grand prize Phoenix Force card as part of the "set".

No one knows.. No one has opened a gravity feed yet unless you were a one of the lucky few reviewer.

Many of us on the forums plan to post out findings after release

I just hope the commons are 50%, so that it's always one common and one uncommon/rare/ultrarare per booster.
I did my math about how much different cards and dice I will get by assuming the spread will be .5, 1/3, .15 and .0167. But totally guessed, of course!

I hope you`ll like the game a lot, otherwise the investment doesn`t justify price....

In the bright side you only need one of every car in this game

Although I guess you need 4 dice ...

I believe every dice is available with a common card. So it seems like getting the dice shouldn't be too much trouble. Except for those dice that come in the starter, so you have 3 of them to begin.

I tend to have similar taste to Tom Vassel and he loves the game so I have high hopes.

I'm sure I'll need a few singles here and there. I was a Mage Knight player back in the day.

Normally I avoid collectible games but I do like Quarriors and Marvel Comics.

I'll likely avoid YuGiOh, but if they make DC....

But don't be fooled by the radio, the TV, or the magazines. They'll show you photographs of how your life should be but they're just someone else's fantasies.

My guess is like yours. I believe there will be one common per pack. The other card/dice will be an Uncommon, Rare or Supper-Rare. The ratios of the three groups is key. The designer has said, "The collectible scheme on this game is one of the more "friendly" collectible schemes. Every character has a common version. There are very few super rares and they are not that much harder to get than the rares."

Taking him at his word I guess that 1/4 of rare spots are taken by super-rares. That leaves only the ratio of Uncommon to Rare. My guess is that 1/3 of the uncommon/rare/super spots are taken by rares/supers (I am just guess and I most likely wrong).

So, give that we know there are 30 Commons / 34 Uncommons / 30 Rares / 4 Super-Rares in the boosters and given that 180 boosters are purchased here is what I think you can expect:

---------------SET----PURCHASED---PREDICTION
Common ----30------180----------- You will have many duplicates of all commons
UnCommon -34------120----------- You will have many duplicates of all uncommons
Rare ---------30--------45----------- You will have a chance at a complete set of rares.
Super ---------4--------15----------- You will have multiple the super-rares

Many of us will be keeping track of our boosters so we can get a clear understanding of the distribution. I purchased the same number of 180 boosters as well and my hope is that I will not be far from a set as well. At least, we should have dups to trade for what we need.

My hope is that ratios are even more friendly than I mentioned above..

That would be really stretching his word. And not the right math either. Looking at your chart you are much more likely to get a specific Super-Rare than a specific Rare. Super-Rares by definition need to be more rare than 4 in every 34.

WizKids already said that Injustice Dice masters is in the works. Q4 if I remember correctly. So we'll have a good Christmas. :-)

Like I said, I am really just guessing at this stuff. We will know the facts in a month.

So it is not going to be the whole DC Universe like Marvel Dice Masters. I had high hopes for the DC Dice Masters but hearing it is Injustice does not give me much hope.

That could just just be the theme of the first set.
