6 Player Game Ruleset

Good Roles:

Seer - Each night receives a vision of a target player as 'wolf' or 'not wolf.' The seer chooses a vision each night including N0.

Hunter - If only two players remain in the game and the hunter is one of those players, then the good team wins even if the other player is a werewolf.

Villager - Ordinary villager with no special powers.

Evil Roles:

Werewolf - Each night the wolf choose one target player to kill. There is no kill on Night 0.

Sorcerer - Each night receives a vision of a target player as 'seer' or 'not seer.' The sorcerer chooses a vision each night including N0. The sorcerer wins if the wolf wins, but does not count as a werewolf for parity purposes (see below).

Mad Roles:

Tanner - The Tanner is suicidal and wants to die. If he is lynched on D1, then Tanner wins. If he does not die on D1, then he explodes from tragic irony.

Victory Conditions:

Good - All good players win if the werewolf is eliminated, or if the last two players remaining are the hunter and the werewolf. The sorcerer does not have to be eliminated in order for Good to win.

Evil - All evil players win if the wolf achieve parity: if at any time the number of wolves remaining equals the number of non-wolves remaining (including the sorcerer), evil wins. Howver, if one wolf is left with the hunter, then good wins. The sorcerer counts as a 'non-wolf' for these purposes.

Mad - A mad player wins if they die according to their condition.

Lynch Rules:

Each day players vote for one player to be lynched. The player receiving the most votes is killed. If there is a tie between two or more players, the tied player with the longest held last vote is killed.

Lynch time is 0:20 after Dawn BGG time. Votes cast with this time-stamp are counted. Votes cast after this time are invalid. Votes made during the night phase are invalid.

All votes must conform to the Cassandra Vote Tally System rules. (Will be
posted once the game starts). If all living players vote night fall it will
speed up the dusk.

Neither the player's role or team is revealed upon lynch.

Night Orders:

Wolf, Seer, and Sorcerer must all submit their night orders by 0:05 after Dusk BGG time. They do this by using the Cassandra Game Order system in the Cassandra Chat System.

The wolf's night kill choice is revealed with the DAWN post. The players' role and team are not revealed.

If all living players (including those with out night actions) click on the
'Lock Game Actions' button it will speed up Dawn.

Do not post the content of your Mod Chat room to the game thread. You may summarize, but direct copying is not allowed. Consider that like showing your card to the group in a face-to-face game

Please limit posts made after you have been killed, since there is no
moderator on duty to police such things, it would be better to refrain

Important Information:
Tiebreaker: longest held last vote
This is a Fast game where the
Day Length = 0:20
Night Length = 0:05
Weekend Policy: This game will run over the weekend.

Dusk 3:00pm
Dawn 4:00pm

This game will start when full.

Feel free to go eat them!

I think they're somewhere in the general vicinity of Caitlin. Or did I throw them at Rhanddom this time? I don't remember...

I don't think I'll have time at the moment. I might be free later this evening if it still hasn't started and people are around, though.

My guess of the rough odds to win this thing:

Tanner - 60%
Good - 33
Evil - 7%

For evil to win, the wolf has to:
1) Kill four players and survive
2) Not kill the tanner
3) Not be alive with the hunter

2 and 3 kind of cancel each other out, but 1 and 2 together looks to be pretty insane.
Can we make the sorc a cultist or something?

I'm expecting we will need to test around a bit before we get a Sixer that feels just right.

Or, actually, keep them the same, but have cultist count for parity. That would be my suggestion.

Yeah, tanner is pretty tricksy to balance right, especially in low number games. I haven't thought about a 6p set in a while. I might have given up back when I was. 2 vills is the easiest

I think generally the tanner has to die on the first day.

That would balance it a bit?

Good idea.
I like your method and the cultist-parity suggestion better than the sorc-cultist suggestion.

So sorcerer counts for parity, or Tanner has to die on D1?
But what would the Tanner do if they don't die on D1?
