When green is all there is to be, it could make you wonder why. But why wonder? I'm green, and it'll do fine: it's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be.

After my second play of this last night, I think what the ship cards need are column sliders, so that as you make power adjustments you can easily highlight which column you are using.

Is anyone out there doing something like this?

Yah - I have seen a common solution is using a paper clip.

Sleeve the cards and use paperclips.

I just found this image that might help highlight the "paper-clip" method.

Paper clips, preferably not-so-pinchy plastic ones.

I have NEVER used the clix bases in a game of STFC, except to indicate damage status (white/yellow/red).

In addition I suggest copying a set ship cards so that each opponent can easily track the settings.

Exactly as Roy says. Most of the time we don't even bother to indicate the damage status with the colours. We talk a lot during gameplay

Another vote for paper clips. We've been using them since 2011.

Have laminated the ship cards, and been using coloured paper clips.
