Hi all.

We had Store Championship in Game Space Kashiwagi, Tokyo Japan last Saturday with 10 players. Some might think the number is small, but please understand we don't have no official domestic distributors of A:NR, nor Japanese editions. It's really hard to play with cards with non-native language...

We had 4 rounds of swiss and Top 4 playoff, and Toshiki "RuriPHILO" Matsui won it. Some might know his name with his submission of Netrunner Puzzle (http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1116368/runner-problem-made-...).

Final was a Wayland Tag'n'Bag/Andromeda R&D rush mirror match. In game 1, Toshiki's Andromeda got almost perfect opening hand and went really aggressively, and won the game by 10-3. Game 2, Toshiki crushed Ruka's programs with Power Shutdowns and Ruka only had Chrypsis installed as his Icebreaker. Ruka, however, attacked Toshiki's R&D desparately and it was rewarded. he picked two Agendas from R&D with last run and scored 10-3. The match went on to Game 3!

Toshiki got runner side on Game 3, and again attacked aggressively with Criminal style, Account Siphons and Inside Jobs. He finally managed to get the last match with 10-1 and won the tournament.

Here're Top 2 decklists:

I posted some photo on my blog (http://randomboardgames.sblo.jp/article/91973180.html). I put English captions on those for your help

I registered Tokyo Regional and waiting for authorization. I hope I can have Japan National and send Japanese runner to World championship.

Thanks.

Being a Netrunner fan in Japan sounds a lot like being a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fan in the West. Hope you can make it out to Worlds!

Problem here.

P.S. We started with 8-10 players too, now it's 20+ and we're expecting 32+ for the Chronos Protocol.

Our Event is organized and held in Game Space Kashiwagi (http://www.gamerent.net/). Card game events (MTG and A:NR) are announced on a page under it (http://logicwolf.sakura.ne.jp/magic/kashiwagi/index.html). Next A:NR shop tournament will be on April 29th (Tue, national holiday), and, if it's authorized, Tokyo Regional will be on May 31st. DM me if you want to know more info.

I was in Tokyo last week but didn't find that shop, too bad. I went at The Yellow Submarine but they didn't have no Netrunner. Too bad, next time!
