So we all know how the cards are arranged in a Data Pack, right? (At least until the Lunar Cycle.) It goes like this:

Anarch
Criminal
Shaper
Runner Neutral
Haas-Bioroid
Jinteki
NBN
Weyland Consortium
Corp Neutral

And then within each faction, they are ordered alphabetically by type. Okay.

But in Double Time, for some reason, the NBN cards come before the Jinteki cards. What's up with that?

I mean, I'm not staying awake at nights worrying about it. But I am curious to know why it has happened.

I noticed this too when I was putting them all into binders... *shrugs* I assumed there was something about "double time" and something witty that I missed.

Just cards getting swapped around packs at the last minute I imagine.

I think the best clue as to what may have happened is another inconsistency: Snoop is the cover image of the pack, but is not included in the pack itself. I suspect that during production a card in Mala Tempora had to go back to the drawing board or for another round of play testing, and Snoop was brought forward to replace it. This could somehow have resulted in the anomalies in Double Time.

Either that or alien lizard overlords did it.

It's just a glitch in the matrix. Pay no attention.

Oh yeah, my OCD went crazy as I saw this.

But it's actually not the first time around. In Creation&Control, HB cards came before the Shaper ones.

Note that Rototurret comes after Viktor 1.0 in the Core Set. Presumably because it's not a Bioroid.
