Hi!

Snitch! really caught my interest.

The theme plus eurocubes, the simple rules, quick gameplay, artwork...1 and 2 player options....kind of exactly my thing.
Well, it stops at the price for non-US backers.

That's why I asked the designer if he'd consider adding a pnp pledge level.

Apparently, he wants to think about it.

You could help me to convince him!

The game components are definitely pnp-able:

- 1 first player marker
- 4 detective meeples
- 4 detective tiles
- 12 snitch markers
- 12 snitch tiles
- 4 player aid cards
- 1 rulebook
- 1 Jimmy-V overview page
- 16 action chips
- 30 regular map tiles
- 6 2-person map tiles
- 6 3-person map tiles
- 6 4-person map tiles
- 1 HQ Tile
- 12 Info ID markers
- 48 Info cubes
- 10 – 1 Status Point Markers
- 10 — 2 Status Point Markers
- 8 — 5 Status Point Markers
- 8 — 10 Status Point Markers
- 7 — 25 Status Point Markers
- 6 — 50 Status Point Markers
- 4 — 100 Status Point Markers

Now here comes the poll:

A better poll would be $0 $2 $4 $6 $8 $10. I have never seen a PNP for $20.

Weird. I have. Even for $25 and $35. Just can't remember the games' names. Saw them on KS, had a laugh at the price and forgot about them.

I rather regret not asking for reasons why people wouldn't want to purchase a pnp version of Snitch

EDIT:

Most likely, $2 won't make such a big difference..

Howdy Gang!

Manuel, you already know this, but for any others reading this thread...

-------------------------------

Did you happen to catch the David Lowry's video podcast on Friday?

(Meaning his Club Fantasci show)

He had us on his show and we were talking about all sort of things.

Not surprising that PNP came up in the conversation.

It was at about 23:30 into the show.

Here's the link if you want to hear it...

http://clubfantasci.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/club-fantasci-i...

Just thought you-all should know that PNP is a big topic around here.

...so when's decision time?

...and you know, Karl, there are way more potential crafters outside the scope of BGG!

Gosh, I'd love to mount the tiles onto blank 6x6cm memory tiles and squeeze it all into a handy video case! Perfect for travelling! whistlewhistlewhistle

Well...

You should stop whistlin' and start smilin' because...

Santa's elves are workin' on the PNP now.

The thought puts a really big smile on my face...

I want to discuss with you the final plan for this.

Can you Skype now?

We have set up a series of threads on the PNP subject over on the SNITCH page.

We are using them, and all the posts found here in this thread, as a resource to try to gather the best info possible to then try to provide the best PNP experience for fans of the game.

Keep the posts coming here, and if anyone wants to check out the series of specialized PNP threads over on the SNITCH page (all posted on the 8th of April), then come on over...

Thanks to all who contribute to this wealth of knowledge!
