Did anyone else go cross eyed when they tried reading the new energy web rules for the first time?

This is going to be a bitch to run.

I suspect it will be easier after one run through.

Do we know enough about the tokens to proxy them yet?

Sounds like its pretty wordy, but the procedure is very simple. So I can't imagine it'll be that bad.

Yeah, it's the sort of thing that necessarily takes a lot of words to explain, but then I looked at the pictures and was like "oh, so it goes like this, and then like that. Got it."

I figured it out, but now I've gotta explain it to 11 other people :-), and they have to figure it out. :-)

Oh well, I'm just being bitchy :-)

PS. I'm gonna bring some maneuverable ships, cause damn, one wrong move and you're dead.

I did the math on them how they would fit as intended while using all 30 tokens, and took some quick extrapolations (as the sheets should be the same size as previous punchout sheets)

Each EWT should be 8" long and .5" wide, and the guides should be 3.5" long, and .5" wide.

We had the same problem. The rules SOUND really complicated but once you get started the web rules are very simple. It basically starts in opposite corners and grows one length every round.

It seems actually pretty simple: there are two web lines to start. They each grow straight until they hit the edge or another web line and then they turn.

Someone in another thread ask how long they were and I also came up with 8". If you look at the token shit, knowing the guides are 4" they look a lot longer than 8".

All I have to say is thank you for the video. That was cool seeing it come together. I going to make some proxies tomorrow and try this weekend.
