If you roll 3 Dynamite you lose 1 life point. You lose 1 life point for each additional Dynamite that remains to be resolved. EG I rolled 5 Dynamite, I lose 5 life points.
Is this too harsh or would it work ok?
Shooting yourself in the foot:
If you resolve a '2' when there is only you and one opponent left standing you shoot yourself accidentally (because your shot revolves around the table in a direction of your choosing as normal but... goes past your opponent and back to yourself).
I think this would be funny but would it ruin the game balance?

I think that the dynamite is way underpowered.
In original Bang - a dynamite did 3 damage but you only started with 4. I reckon that 1 point per dynamite rolled but still need 3 to explodee
so 3 dynamite = 3 damage
5 dynamite = 5 damage
Or even as just suggested over the game table - 5 dynamite automatically die
Or another variant - 3 damage to self and one to person either side.
