I have made my own copies of the new tracks to see how they work in comparison to the original version - and they are surprisingly good!

I say 'surprisingly' as I feared that they wouldn't be particularly interesting with 3 or 4 players, but a small test show that they were quite fun with any number of players.

There were plenty of opportunity for most chariots to block each other and to overtake when someone least expected it!
The blue track appeared to be a little nastier than the red - especially when driving counter-clockwise (on red) as it is difficult to prevent people from entering the Emperial lane.

I am looking forward to get the tracks in a proper version!

Red track
3 players
Player 1 (cards left: 6+1)
Player 2 (card left: 5)
Player 3 didn't make it! (-2 spaces) (card left: 6*)

*) I prefer to play the variant where the leading player is any player left on the track and in the front. Thus he couldn't play his '6'.

4 players
Player 2 (cards left: 4+2)
Player 3 (card left: 6)
Player 4 (cards left: 6+5)
Player 1 (card left: 4)

6 players
Player 2 (card left: 4)
Player 3 (cards left: 2+1)
Player 1 (card left: 6)
Player 5 (cards left: 6+4)
Player 4 (cards left: 3+3+1)
Player 6 didn't make it (no cards left, -7 spaces!)

Blue track
3 players
Player 1 (cards left: 5+1)
Player 2 (card left: 1)
Player 3 was thrown to the lions for not saluting Caesar!

6 players
Player 1 (card left: 6)
Player 4 (cards left: 3+1)
Player 6 (card left: 3)
Player 2 (card left: 1)
Player 3 (cards left: 4+1+1)
Player 5 (cards left: 4+1)
