So I found spiffworld.com/sotm site that has story based challenges so I was thinking up two of my own and wane get some feed back

Number 1
Required heroes: Expatriate, the wraith, mr fixer
Environment: rook city
Villain: the chairman

The police have a eye witness to put a end. To the chairman's reign The police commissioner ask the heroes to provide an escort of the witness to safe while they prepare the case

Win conditions
Defeat the chairman
The witness stays alive

The witness is considered a hero target and has 10 hp whenever the witness would take damage a hero can redirect the damage to them the witness is always considered the highest and the lowest hp hero target


Huber two

Required heroes: expatriate,mr fixer,the wraith
Villain: ambicide
Environmentike industrial complex,rook city,megalopolis


Win conditions
Defeat ambicide
Or get to the court house


The heroes are requested again to escort the witness to the court house for the trail of the chairman but he has hired ambicde to take out the witness before he gets to the court house


Special rules

The witness has 10 hp and is considered a hero target and always the highest and lowest target whenever the witness would take damage a hero can redirect it to themself

Start with pike industrial complex when the deck run switch to rook city when it runs out switch to megalopolis when that runs out you have reached the courthouse and have won the game

At the beginning of the environment turn any number of heroes can discard a card if the do discard the top X cards of the current environment deck X= the number of cards discarded this way

The biggest issue I see is that having the witness have the highest and lowest hero HP, basically means that you can always redirect damage to whichever hero you want. This seems broken. How would you deal with the thug that requires the lowest HP hero to discard a card or take H damage? Obviously the witness can't discard a card, so he has to take the damage - which could then be redirected to a hero, but it removes a valuable mechanic. Once the Chairman flips on Advanced with 5 players, this is 10 damage that you could otherwise avoid each round.

And in the second, you are never going to go through 3 environment decks before finishing Ambuscade (I'm assuming this is who you meant) - that is roughly 45 turns. If you can't finish Ambuscade by then, you're doing it wrong. There is no point to discarding to move the environment deck forward, it is easier to just take out Ambuscade

Good concept... but I think the mechanics need further examination. I like the idea of having an "alternate" victory condition.

i was try to go for a feeling like the safe house movie with the first one where you try to get the witness to the safe house but every crooked cop and criminal in the city is try to get the witness

and the 2nd one i was trying to go like the movie 16 blocks where you got the master mind who is in court but hire someone to take out the witness before they can make it to court or keep what ever damning evidence from making it to the court house

but i want the witness to be some what of a burden to heroes and as for the 2nd one how could i simulate the the heroes try to run through town too get to the court house but make it so it not something they can do with out some draw back i thinks maybe dropping pike and just use rook and mega as seeing the goal being in mega

yeah it was ambuscade i forgot how his name was spelled i was doing off the top of my head but i really wana get those to work out any suggestion

how about is for #2 adding spite as a 2nd villain and having them switch off each turn as to who is active and only the active villian can be interacted with that way it give the heroes a reason to hurry up and get to the court house by burning through the evioments as for the witness im not sure on how to work them out
