From their website:
CaptainCon is 3 days of around-the-clock tabletop gaming July 25 – 27, 2014.
Our mission is to bring you the best gaming experiences available at a reasonable cost with as few restrictions as possible so that you can play what you want when you want in a fun and open atmosphere. This means:
A single convention badge price – no tickets for individual events
24 hour access to the convention’s game space
A robust schedule of organized competitive miniatures games tournaments including the New England Team Tournament for WARMACHINE and HORDES
Plenty of table space for casual miniatures, board, and, card games
A games demo area where you can learn and try new games with the coaching of experienced players
A dedicated hobby area where you can assemble or paint models (we’ll supply the paint) and chat with friends
The Captain’s Log achievement system that rewards you with prizes that aren’t tied just to winning games
An entire weekend of hanging out with friends, enjoying challenging games, and just generally having fun with an amazing group of great people

1st a suggestion... please edit base post to put into the subject both the dates of this con and *where* in MA this is being held
also would be nice if you put into your base post missing info so folks don't have to click through....
It's being held in Taunton (MA)
hotel rates are $109/nigh (I assume before tax and hotel fees, add 10-15%??)
passes are $30 for a one (1) day, $45 for the 3 day
some Q&A from the KS page for those like me who would be looking at this like a Summer UG event....
Q: This looks like a lot of miniatures games, what about board games, party games, and card games?
A: Never fear, we like board and card games just as much as you. Miniatures tournaments have great visibility and take up more space, so they'll obviously make up the bulk of updates and the space in the ballroom. But, there's a reason why our first stretch goal for the convention will go to paying for a whole extra room (950 square feet) of space dedicated to board and card games. We'll also have tables in the ballroom itself that are open to casual play of any games you like - including giving you space for a Settlers of Catan game or a little Netrunner action.
