I am interested about which "generation" plays PACG the most...
I presume that I am among the older bunch, as I am 50.

Poll
How old are you ?
Less than 15
15-20
21-30
31-40
41-50
51-60
60+

Technically, I fall into the 41-50 bucket, but I play with my son (9), so I voted to represent his demographic.

Edit: He LOVES this game.

Does this poll reflect the game's demographic or the average age range of people who read BGG?

I'd be interested in knowing that too. The average age is skewing a lot higher than I anticipated.

Hard to answer this - I'm in my mid 40's, and run it with my 13 and 15 year old daughters. So what is the correct choice?

It'd be the average age of people that find this thread here on BGG. So it'll lean towards people that play or are interested in PACG as well as those that randomly peruse BGG.

So, the answer to your question is 'yes' lol.

I'd assume most of the people that find this thread are here intentionally because of PACG instead of just randomly finding it, but it also doesn't take into account anyone that's NOT on BGG, and just as others have mentioned, it is also limited to a single vote, even if it's a single person voting for their entire playgroup, which may have children younger than them or adults older than them that do not visit BGG themselves.

So, let's just go with this: it reflects the game's demographic that visits BGG.

Compute the average and select that.

2 x 41, 3 x 17, 1 x 14

My wife and I play with our two boys and two of their friends. However they wouldn't be playing if I hadn't kept pushing for it.

The GM in me also provides the running narration of the game as we play. I'm not sure if they'd be as into it if the storytelling wasn't behind it.

Edited for age. Forgot I had a birthday a few weeks ago. whistle

The people I've played this with fall in the 31-40 bracket (hubby and a friend).

Any poll on any forum has similar limits.
One could also question the notion of "play", as it covers intensive to casual play.

For all who play with people not registered here, just put your own age as an answer.
If you have among your gaming partners some who are registered on BGG, tell that they can vote on the poll if they want to.
I started playing with my 15 y.o. boy, but he is more in Xbox gaming than boardgaming now, so I don't know when he will want to play PACG again.

I am astonished, too, that the ages displayed are that high.
Is it a sign that boardgames are slowly going to die with "their" generation, as board wargames are?

No this really is just reflecting the fact that BGG users tend to be older.

I noted 51 - 60 because I always play this game with my wife!

My wife is 48 and I am just 61.

I don't have to say we are both avid gamers I guess. And though we are wargamers at heart we love almost all games.

Four mid-40's dudes playing the game here. We're former D&D junkies, so this game is a fun bit of nolstalgia for us.

My buddy's wife (mid-30's) loves the game too.
