I can't seem to find a Geek List with this stuff (I'd be happy with a link )

I've got a niece and nephew (highschool junior & senior) coming over tomorrow for what could be a double game night. I'm not buying anything new but I'm struggling to choose a game that works really well with three. Feel free to check out my collection if you want to reccomend something not listed, I'm pretty open to ideas.

Nonetheless, here is what I'm trying to choose between...

Bruxelles 1893
Lancaster (I have all expansions, in the event it matters)
Asgard
Madeira
Yedo
Steam (I have all the official Steam expansion maps to date)
Merchant of Venus (second edition)
Terra Mystica
Snowdonia
Russian Railroads
Through the Ages: A Story of Civilization

I could list about ten more that I've tossed around but, yawn..too many games!

So to answer the expected questions...

We've played before and these kids are plenty capable and interested in anything I suggest, theme isn't all that relevant. I'm mainly trying to narrow down games that are excellent with 3. Time isn't an issue nor is complexity...

Bring it!

My wife, son, and I do a lot of 3-player gaming. Going through your collection, with what we play the most, I have:

Dominion (with any expansion, we all like something different, so we rotate options)
Eclipse
King of Tokyo
Lords of Waterdeep
Love Letter
Munchkin
Puerto Rico (We actually have Cuba, but have played Puerto Rico with friends enough to think that it would work well with three)
Stone Age (This one gets a lot of play by us)

We've either not played any of the ones you mentioned, or not played with less than 4.

Honestly, I feel like any of the Worker Placement or Role Assumption games work well with small groups.

I haven't played any of the ones you've listed ... so I'm going to be no help with personal advice ... but according to BGG Merchant of Venus (second edition) is best with 3 players and Bruxelles 1893 is best with 3 or 4

Sorry I can't be more help ... but I'm sure others will be ... but didn't know if you knew about the polls for games and what numbers they are best with, as it took be a bit to notice them on the game profile and to click on the poll to see how it's all broken down ... but that could just be me taking so long to really notice that ...

Hope you have a fun gaming night with whatever you do play

Thanks, I'm aware of the best with polls, they help but still leave plenty of interpretation on the table...

Eclipse
Fleet
Keyflower
Puerto Rico
Race for the Galaxy
Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island
Tigris & Euphrates

I recommend all of these, but if I had to choose- I would say RFTG for a short game and Eclipse for a longer one.

Bruxelles 1893: I'd say that this is best with either 3 or 4, so should be a good fit.
Madeira: I'd say best with 4. The less players there are, the less scope there is for specialisation.
Steam: I can't vouch for the expansion maps, but I find 4-5 the better player count.
Russian Railroads: Works v well at 3.
Through the Ages: A Story of Civilization: TTA is arguably best at 3. Not too long, but enough players to have all the military cards as options. I've heard complaints that 3 accentuates the problems associated with falling behind on military.

I've either not played the others, or merely haven't played enough.

RE: the rest of your collection. The following games are IMHO at their best at 3 players.

Troyes
Robinson Crusoe
Le Havre
Suburbia
Lewis & Clark

If I was in your group of 3, I'd be begging for Merchant of Venus (second edition). 3 is probably a sweet-spot for this one.
