Ive never played this game before but ive been watching how to play it.
Just curious, in a two player game how does anyone bid for the very center tile?
Bec in a 2 player u only hv the 1, 2, 3 number tokens to place. 1 for the flag and 2 and 3, for tiles on the edge and the next tile away over. The middle tile is 3 tiles away which would seem impossible to bid for since u can only bid for the next adjacent tile. So does this mean no one can bid for the middle tile and is pretty much out of the game?

I would think this clause comes into play:

Quote:
If a player, on his turn to place an auction marker, cannot do so because there are
no empty game tiles adjacent to or diagonal to the previously placed auction
marker, he chooses any empty game tile (without an auction marker on it) in the
playing area and places his auction marker on it. The following players place their
auction markers using this space as the new base. Thus, the number trail is broken,
and may be broken more than once if subsequent players cannot place auction
markers for the same reason.

Not at all. It cannot be bid for on the first round, but in following rounds the flag can be placed in a square which is empty by virtue of the tile already having been selected in an earlier round.

The flag placement and control of available tiles is interesting and is one of the reasons I prefer Goa as a 2 player game.
