Hey all,

To those who haven't seen the movie...you might not want to read any further.

Tho those that have....it looks like we are getting a version of the Sinister Six next time. Looks like Green Goblin, Vulture, Doc Ock, and Rhino are given....but what about the last two? Who do you think they are off the ending credits shots?

Here are my guesses:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
One of the ending shots looked like cat eyes, and the movie introduced Felicia Hardy as Harry's assistant (with a real bad actress...ugh). I am guessing Black Cat will be part of them.

The other one I am guessing will be Chameleon maybe? Either that or Mysterio, but the shot looked like someone's skin changing.

Anyway....any other ideas?

For whatever it's worth:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Sony's been pretty vocal about it's post ASM2 plans. Basically, one movie a year in their "Spider-Man Cinematic Universe".

Sinister Six is confirmed for 2015. Venom, I believe, for 2016. ASM3 for 2017.

Aaaaand, as far as the lineup for the Sinister Six, they *insist* that the lineup which seems foreshadowed by ASM2 will not be the lineup in the movie itself. "We've got some surprises up our sleeves for you" is basically how they've put it.

Not only did she not seem like a great actress (the Black Cat gal), but she doesn't even have the right color of hair.

As a sidenote, I enjoyed the movie a lot but I did think it should've been edited better - it was just a bit too long and a bit too slow.

So these movies are separate from the regular series? Just like the comics...here come the one-offs and the "that didn't happen in this story's world". lol

Edit: I guess that already happened when we rebooted to ASM.

I enjoyed it, overall, but it felt like I was watching a batch of middle episodes of a TV series. There were four occasionally interrelated plots that didn't gel into one story. You had:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
1. The relationship with Gwen Stacy plot
2. The Electro plot
3. The Green Goblin origin plot
4. The learning-the-truth-about-Dad plot

Their mistake was trying to incorporate #4. Maybe it's central to Spider-Man canon, I don't know, but try as they might it didn't develop into anything in an interesting way, and it didn't really feed into anything else.

Yep, I would agree that Plot #4 was somewhat shoehorned into things. The other plots, I thought, dove-tailed together fairly well, though.

Surprised by what I'm reading here. I thought it was
Spoiler (click to reveal)
probably the worst comic movie I've ever watched.

I'll be a little more useful and post a link.

I haven't seen ASM 2 yet, but I would be surprised if it is even worse than the first schizophrenic movie.

Any chance you saw Batman & Robin? lol

I think the worst part was that they didn't really get one character right. Max Dillon was definately not Max Dillion.

I take it back, I take it back!

I guess relatively speaking, this movie was Amazing!

FWIW, there were people clapping when the credits came up, so obviously there were plenty of people who did enjoy it. Watching it in 3D IMAX was enjoyable enough simply because of the awesome shots of him swinging between buildings and over the streets.
