Every once in a while a kickstarter campaign interests me enough to watch their video. But it seems every other video is 90% the game designers attempt at sketch comedy, and 10% product. I find those videos terrible.

Even in the rare event a game designer is funny, chuckling doesn't make me any closer to contributing, especially when I know so little about the game. Usually I can find out about the game if I hunt enough through all the junk on the page, but I've stopped bothering because it's just too much work.

Are my feelings on the matter rare, or are many designers consistently making the same mistake?
