I'd imagine folks are automatically substituting the Peg-style ICs, despite the base game label in the poll.

EDIT: Pegasus Treachery and base game skill cards added.
:\ There doesn't seem to Pegasus non-Treachery skill cards available.

Actually, I'd rate them both the same - Peg are better designed, but I enjoy the occasional chance to abuse the broken originals for variety.

Cool poll. Although if you didn't vote for FTL Control as the favorite location, you are a cylon.

think i made some typos or mistakes along the way. for example I believe I got the card effect of support the people wrong. I ran into some problems and posted early before getting all the polls done so I had to rush them out before everyone voted only on a few polls instead of all of them.

You are the cylon!

As an original (starting) location FTL Control is useless unless you are the last player to go in a 5-player game (sometimes in 4-player game) and have drawn some movement ability like Critical Situation, so that you can scout first, jump next.

Rather start where you can realistically be XO'ed during the first game round.

I read it as "original (Base game) location" rather than "original (character starting) location".

Anyway, FTL Control isn't that exciting a location - it's functional, sure, and arguably the best place for Cylons to damage, but that doesn't make it best in terms of fun factor or design - the poll's stated criteria.

Well, that does make more sense.

Still, like yourself, I think FTL is situational and there is no reason to be there just for the fun of it. If you move there, you sure need to be certain that other viable locations are manned and you can also do something else than just jump with that XO that you are expecting (unless you expect State of Emergency).

No, in fact we are not. The great thing about BSG is that your group plays it in a way your group plays it, and we play it like we do.

Too many in my groups used to pick Tory. Was a bit unfun due to that.
