Okay, I admit, I over think things sometimes. :-P When ambushes/attacks tell a player or players to discard a random card we have been torn on exactly what that means. Sometimes, a specific card is to be discarded or destroyed such as a Courage, etc. Then other times, it is a random card. Sometimes that sounds like it means any random card you pick as opposed to a specific card, and other times, it seems more like shuffle your hand and choose a card without looking at it. Which is it supposed to be? Thanks!

It means card chosen randomly from your hand. So, you don't get to pick which card it is.

We got an opponent to take a card from a face-down hand, but people tend to pick from the middle, so it wasn't completely random! We now use a dice.

The last time I shuffled my hand, my thumb ended up where my middle finger should have been. It got me into trouble when I gave someone a 'thumbs up'.

That's the chance you take. I'm not getting invited back to High Tea after "the Pinkie Fiasco".
