I don't think it is implied in the lore anywhere but that's what I've always thought as well.

Looks like someone didn't study their Norse mythology.

Hunin and Munin have returned from Wikipedia with all the whispered secrets of creation.

I wonder if we're eventually going to get the rest of the pantheon.
--------------------------------------------------------
Thor 2.0: Cost $13, Str. 9 Barrier.
You may use [2 Clicks] to break any two subroutines on this ice.

E Do 3 meat damage (this damage cannot be prevented.)
E Trash 2 programs.
E End the run.

"Huzzah!"
--------------------------------------------------------
Loki 2.0: Cost $6, Str. 6 Code Gate.
You may use [Click] to break any subroutine on this ice.

E Trace5: Put an ice (advancement) token on Loki.
E Trace3: Put a fire (virus) token on Loki.
E Trace1: Put a mind (tag) token on Loki.

Hosted ice token: runner loses a click.
Hosted fire token: runner reveals their hand. Trash one of the revealed cards.
Hosted mind token: tag the runner and gain $2.

"Miiiiiiiind gaaaaaaaames..."
--------------------------------------------------------

...yeah, I have no idea how to balance. Freya could be a money factory, Baldur could be invincible to destruction (take that, Parasite!), Tyr could weaken (or have a chance to destroy) breakers used on him.

I'd also love if there was eventually at least one (likely Shaper) mythological breaker - Surt, or Beowulf, or (as many have already suggested) Mordred...heck, they own Star Wars licenses, I wonder if they could have Vader. :3

I've always assumed Project Wotan was the guy being templated through brain-taping for Wotan (the ICE).

So the very construction of such a monster piece of ice was itself a 5/3 agenda.

Seems legit.

Of course, that leaves the question open of just what story is being told when a Project Wotan gets scored from behind a Wotan.

The first Wotan was so great, why not build more?

I believe the guy on Project Wotan is dying and he wants to transfer his consciousness into a bioroid/program so he can live forever. Which is also why I think Wotan is unique.

That guy on Project Wotan doesn't look so good. And he's in a medical robe.

So what I figured was that cancer-ridden badass gets braintaped. It works and is used to make the most badass possible Bioroid, that can't be clicked through (ie, can't be tricked or circumvented like stupid, stupid Eli).

Note that Project Wotan's ability is also basically 'ICE is tougher and in particular, much harder to click through'

Where does this come from?
I'm interested in getting a list of all the Android lore materials so I can learn more. I'm thinking of picking up Freefall (and possibly other books) and obviously there appears to be quite a lot of other info in the board games. Is there much else outside of the books & games?
How many books are there? I count 5 (Identity trilogy, Strange Flesh and Freefall)?
Would it be worth/is there a geeklist with an entry with each source of official lore/fiction and a brief explanation of it's contents/themes and a rough time-frame?

Sorry if this is de-railing at all...

Nowhere; he's messing with you.

I did wonder that, hence the question.

But my point about the geek list still stands

And riffing off an even more (since it wasn't derivative, being the original) nonsensical post asking if Chaos Theory was Kate's daughter, and claiming that the knowledge was needed for a school project.
