Are you interested in trying brand new games before anybody else?
Can you see strategies and game flaws before anyone else in your gaming group?
Are you interested in helping to polish games into something that could become the next big thing?
United Geeks of Gaming in northeast Minneapolis is launching a new playtesters group to work with game designers, both local and who we meet online.
Right now our focus is on building a stable of playtesters we can call on depending on what kinds of games we're testing. To that end, if this sounds interesting to you, you're invited to a meeting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Waterbury Building, 1121 Jackson St. NE, Room 106A in Minneapolis. The parking lot is on the east side of the building, and you can enter through door 1121C.
At the meeting, we'll talk briefly about the group and then go next door to meet with some designers and play some new games.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you're interested but can't make the Friday meeting.
