The forces of Chaos learned about a special building that the Thunder Hammers (TH) were in charge of guarding. As the two forces raced to the building to secure it, the THs were able to get set-up first and fire at the evil Chaos scum. In this large 4000 point battle the THs unloaded an awesome display of firepower and wrecked havoc on the villianous forces of Chaos. In the firery aftermath of the whilting fire two Chaos Defilers were left in wreckage along with 3 of his 9 Obiliators. The brave Terminators charged out of their Crusader to annihilate two Obiliators left in a squad. As Chaos recoverd from the initial swarm of death, they were able to charge the Terminators that invaded their vile building and wipe them out. The brave Space Marines were able to avenge the death of the Terminators by pouring overwhelming fire into the building and wiping out the last of the Obilators along with a Demon and a Lord. However the Chaos bikers were racing to the building. Over by the special building, the infiltrators of both sides were exchanging fire. The heroic Space Marines were able to wipe out the 3 Chaos infilators based on the ability of two Devastor squads to infiltrate with the scouts. However, things turned bad for the good side when the lone Chaos biker reached the building and his demonic allies finally arrived on the table. Two squads of Bloodletters (?) were able to overwhelm the scouts and devastor squad, while the big Deamon (Argthr?, 8 wounds and basically a killing machine) was wiping out a Chaplain/Captain lead assualt squad. The fight was looking dim for the Space Marines with the Bloodletters holding the building and the Deamon defending the approaches. However the Space Marines were prepared for this since they had been smart to mount their troops in transports. On the final turn of the battle, the Space Marines rushed the building and was able to wipe out one squad of Bloodletters, while getting the other squad below 25%, hence the Space Marines were the only "scoring unit" in the building. A well fought, but bloody battle!
