Here is my exampled situation:

A Level 9 munchkin breaks the door and gets a level 1 monster or looks for trouble and plays a level 1 monster does;
1st)automatically the monster is defeated right?
2nd)and he wins automatically because of defeating the monster?
3rd)does the combat end when he automatically defeat the monster because he can defeat it on its own?
4th)If some other munchkin plays a wandering monster and plays a monster, does the monster the combat still continue?
5th)or it already has ended because he has defeated it?
6th)does it continue so we can play other cards?

The answer to all of this is:

If you draw from the dor deck or play from you hand a level 1 monster, the other players DO get a chance to throw whatever they can at you and the monster (Potions, Monster Enhancers, wandering monsters, etc) to keep you from getting to level 10.

So, yes, if a Wadering Monster is played, you must defeat both. You can still ask for help, but you probably wont get it from anyone but a level 9 Elf.

You can then in turn throw your own potions, negative Monster Enhancers, etc to try to win.

It all works like any other combat except you may have some extra brutality wrought upoun you for daring to try to reach level 10.
