Yes, it’s time for another session report for the Terminal City Gamers. This will be our second-last regular session before we break for Christmas, and I think everybody is keen on getting in as much gaming as possible before the holiday.
First off is Fossil. Fossil is one of those games that’s been around for a while, but we never seemed to get around to playing it. We played Jeff’s copy of the game and we were all newbies except for Jeff. The players were Dan, Corwin, Jeff, Chester and me (Rick).
Fossil is a fairly simple set collecting game, but the method of collecting sets – by moving one of two stones on a board with a grid of tokens – is fairly unique. It can be a bit of a brain-burner trying to get the tokens that you need and at the same time denying tokens to others. As in most brain-burner type games, this is a very quiet game.
Dan came out with the victory by one point, with Corwin hot on his heels.
*Dan* – 103
Corwin – 102
Rick – 83
Jeff – 81
Chester – 52
Dan – 7
Corwin – 8
Rick – 7
Jeff – 7
Chester – 7
Fairly good ratings for a good quick game.
