Any ideas how to play this 3 player??

Could the allies be run by 2 players co-operatively??

I fear if I cant get to play as a 3 player I wont get it on the table for some time....as we are regular Trio ....

It's some time I don't play it but I do remember me and my gamebuddies tried to play it in the 3 of us.

I think it's possible, IIRC, taking note that one player is Prussia, one Austria and one the other Allies. Obviously you'll have to pick one of the allies as the overall commander (likely Austria) in order to decide which card to use every turn (or the Austro-Allies decide togheter) and you'll have anyways to split the number of command points on the cards between the two Austro-Allies players(and to find a criteria to split, like "Austria decides"). I remember it worked but it came out a little bit unbalanced (in favor of Prussia) as Austro-allies splitted have more difficult time in coordinate their moves and replacement/reinforcement.

But the game was fun anyways

maybe Ron Draker could tell us something about

Mario is spot on with how best to play this as a 3-player game. It's not ideal, but it works ok.
