Has anyone played this yet?

The graphics are (no offence to the artist on it) blooming awful, but the gameplay is pretty fun. It's a roguelike where the combat is a bit like playing a Dominion or Ascension Deck. Treasures from combat or shops go into your deck and each enemy you face plays in very specific ways. There are also ways to delete cards from your deck and a decent number of different options on how to specialise.

There is also a perk system so whenever you get further in the game you choices of character and their starting equipment improves.

It's also on a couple of quid or $3.

I'd recommend giving it a go if you want Dominion mixed with Shandalar, the old MTG game.

Indeed, i think it is a pretty decent game. You do need to unlock quite a few achievements to be able to regularly get past level 1 though. God knows how to get to level 3 yet, 110 health octopus? I got it down to 47 before it killed me.

Amazing game, I'm completely hooked on it. I managed to get to the final boss once with the paladin. I knocked 50hp off it before it destroyed me :)

I've been playing this after a friend recommended it to me. Each game in and of itself is rather basic and only mildly enjoyable, because there is absolutely no way to win the entire game in one session. It becomes rather enjoyable when played over a course of multiple sessions as you gradually ramp up your characters and powers. I would give it a 7 out of 10 for now.

I'm totally addicted to this game. It has a high re-playability to it and keeps you coming back for more. I have only gotten past level 3 once, but I keep going back again and again. Have I mentioned it's addictive? :p

If this is an RPG, it should be posted in RPGGeek. If it is iOS, it should probably be posted in Videogamegeek. If it is a stealth plug by a Videogamegeek designer, it should probably be in an Announcements or Promotions forum. But I fail to see why this is posted in the main BGG forums.

If you had played the game, you would see it is a computer representation of a card game. A card game, is (in BGG parlance) a boardgame, and therefore should be part of the main BGG site.

I also haven't made the game, although i do work in the Games Industry, i'll quickly plug FABLE LEGENDS!

Unfortunately therefore all of your suggestions are incorrect. What you 'should' have suggested is that the post be under 'Computer Based Board Gaming'. I fail to see how you didn't mention that option.

If it is a boardgame, please add it to the database. Dream Quest is not yet listed on BGG

YOu call the game an RPG in the title of this thread. And now you say that I'm wrong to suggest that it should be listed in RPGGeek. O-kay.
