RULES:

During the game, the rules for Solo-SNITCH are technically no different than regular SNITCH, but it plays very differently.

Then when it comes to scoring there is a special equation used to produce your SOLO-RANKING.

DURING PLAY:

Some things are not possible in the solo game (interrogation and jurisdiction actions). With just one player, it’s very exciting and turns go EXTREMELY fast!

SCORING & RANKING:

As a solo game, Snitch! is all about “Beating Yourself!”

Here’s how it works: Play a game and note the number of turns it took you to “Make a Solid Case” (trigger the end of the game). Then multiply the number of turns by 3 and subtract that amount from your score (meaning your total victory points).

THAT is your Solo-Rating, or in other words, your score to beat!

Then, post that score here on this thread!

That's it!

That's all you have to do to compete.

Now, bring it!

WRAP-UP

THIS THREAD:

We are trying to build the foundation of a great thread that will be around and active for many years to come, so please know that it is our intention to have evolve and grow as SNITCH does the same.

Hope you join in!

COMPETITION:

We do plan on fostering more competition and to hold some sort of annual event.

A SCALE:

Furthermore, we plan to add a refined rating scale for Solo play, such that players can see right away how they did.

WIN LOSE:

Part of this scale would likely involve a clear cut line between winning and losing.

This way, you could sit down and play, then when done you could definitively say "I won" or "I lost".

So maybe there are 6 levels, 3 are "winning" levels of varying degrees, and the other 3 are losing levels of varying degrees.

This, by the way, is NOT instead of the current system, but...

In addition to!

The 2nd to top level might say...

"You qualify to join the Ladder"

The top one might say...

"You might be the new world champion"

etc.

Stay Tuned!
