I have a question to why I can't place that card. I know on BGA, all the players play from one side and look at in from a singular perspective, but that doesn't happen in real life.

If I were sitting on that other side of the board in real life (like how the picture shows) it would be okay to put, right?

This mirroring thing is something I don't get.

Two different Tetris pieces. Rotating doesn't make them equivalent, which is what your "sitting around the board" comment is trying to do.

In case the initial post wasn't clear: your picture shows Tetris piece 1 on the board and piece 2 on the card. They don't match, no matter where you sit around the table.

No matter how many times you rotate the table mirror images will not become the same.

Spin that card all you want and it will not match the board configuration. It's not just 2 green next to 2 yellow.

I was not seeing that my card there actually did not match the plots shown. WOW.
